Course Summary

This driver development programme is aimed at the experienced driver who is required to drive a mini-bus for business purposes, carrying up to 17 passengers. Employers are legally obliged to provide driver assessments and training as part of their duty of care under the Road Traffic Act and Health and Safety legislation.

The course has a practical bias and is intended to furnish all delegates with practical driving skills to ensure that:

  • The individual driver understands their responsibilities
  • The driver knows all relevant legislation and how it affects them
  • The driver is well-versed in the required procedures to ensure the safety of passengers
  • The driver has the required driving skills to ensure a maximum level of safety

Course Duration

3.5hrs Driving Course
Morning 9.00 – 12.30 or Afternoon 13.00 – 16.30

  • Information, Position, Speed, Gears
  • Development of the accelerations
  • Sense of ECO driving and passenger comfort
  • Hazard perception and analysis
  • Vehicle dynamics to fully understand vehicle performance when full and empty
