Course Summary
This programme is designed for driver’s from overseas who have little or no experience of driving in the UK. The driver will be introduced to the basic rules of the road as per the UK Highway Code aswell as Road Traffic Law. This will provide the driver with some confidence as well as basic driving knowledge.
Course Duration
3.5hrs Driving Course
Morning 9.00 – 12.30 or Afternoon 13.00 – 16.30
Practical On-Road Session
- Vehicle Safety Checks (tyres, lights, indicators, fluid levels, cleanliness of glass etc)
- Familiarisation of Drivers Handbook and Manufaturers Handbook
- The general condition of the vehicle to include any bodywork damage, cleanliness of glass both inside and outside, seat belts and other equipment if provided (i.e. fire
extinguisher, first aid, etc).

- Overall stopping distances and reaction times
- Road traffic collision procedures
